Why Visit Florida?
We all love a holiday it's a great way to experience new culture, different weather, and meet new people. The only problem is choosing where to go as there are many amazing destinations. If you're having trouble picking then this articles for you. We feel everyone should visit Florida at least once and if you aren't convinced hopefully this can change that.In no particular order here are our top reasons to visit Florida.
If you’re from the UK you might be surprised to know that the big yellow anomaly in the sky is around for more than 5 days a year.In Florida it appears quite regularly and the average daytime temperatures can reach around 33°C. This means you can enjoy days out with your friends or family. For example why not spend a day chilling out on the soft sands of Miami Beach or cool down at one of the many amazing waterparks that Florida has to offer.
The Theme Parks
There are lots of amazing theme parks in Florida for kids and big kids alike. The first one we highly recommend visiting is Disneyland. There you will be able to travel at fast speeds on Space Mountain, Traverse the stunning Kilimanjaro Safari and converse with The Dude of the Sea at Turtle Talk with Crush. Not only that but you get to see all your favourite Disney characters in the one place. Cause who doesn't want to meet characters they grew up watching?.Speaking of characters we grew up watching you should take a trip to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios. This is a truly stunning attraction that all Witches, Wizards and Muggles should see.The real magic is that Diagon Alley has been faithfully recreated and makes you feel as if you're in the films. You can visit Ollivander's Wand Shop and purchase an Interactive Wand which triggers special effects around Diagon Alley or simply just have a look around and take it all in.Unfortunately we don't all have a spare Nimbus 2000 or Firebolt laying around the house so travelling to Florida requires flying on Muggle transport. The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum Of Science
There's a lot more to Florida than beaches and theme parks. Infact some of the most interesting things are away from them. Of course you should definitely spend a few days chilling in the sand or visiting some theme parks but there are other things to do. For example you should direct your attention towards the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science. One exhibit to look out for is the 250 seat Planetarium. This uses cutting edge technology like the 16 million colour 8k visual system that uses 6 3d capable projectors and surround sound. This helps to create a stunning display of Star Systems, Coral Reefs and DNA. Another Exhibit to look out for is the 3 level aquarium. The three levels of this exhibit are The Vista, The Dive and The Deep. The Vista Is the top level of the aquarium and includes animals like Hammerhead Sharks ,Devil rays and Mahi - Mahi. The second level is The Dive. This level is home to sea life such as the Damselfish who should be easy to spot as they are very colorful and will more than likely be darting about the place. The final level you will be visiting is The Deep. Down here you will find jellyfish and information on currents. This information is gathered by real time satellite imagery and reveals how the gulf stream connects to other oceans currents.
